At age seventeen he decided to try chiropractic care to alleviate his pain and health condition. After a few weeks of treatment he was able to stop wearing the back brace, and after several months his pain and symptoms were completely gone. As Dr. Marlin often says “it was nothing short of a miracle”. That personal experience drove his passion to want to become a chiropractor.

After graduating from high school he did his undergraduate work in pre-med at the University of Arkansas. He went on to graduate from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Immediately following graduation Dr. Marlin was accepted into post-doctoral work at the world-famous Gonstead Clinic of Chiropractic in Wisconsin.

Dr. Marlin opened his private practice at home in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in 1982. Since beginning in work in chiropractic care he has completed extensive post-graduate studies and has certifications in orthopedics, pediatrics, radiology, cervical acceleration/deceleration injuries, rehabilitation, and clinical nutrition.

One of Dr. Marlin’s passions is to help people regain their health and improve the quality of their lives. Dr. Marlin relates that his most satisfying experiences in chiropractic are having success when other health sciences and doctors have failed. In his family practice he treats all ages from new-born babies to people in their nineties. He even treats the unborn by treating women during pregnancy. Providing families with wellness care is his specialty.

Dr. Marlin firmly believes that, “Everyone deserves to be healthy and express their full potential from the time they are born through their last breath of life.”
